I have been an entrepreneur running websites for 5+ years. I also have a full time gig as a pharmacist in the pharmaceutical and health care industry for over 12 years.
What I have noticed over the years is that the goal of a business owner is to find some balance of being very profitable in your business, fulfilled in your contribution to your community, while having the time to enjoy the rich experiences of family at the same time.
Before, I thought the answer was working HARDER and HARDER and slaving away until you reach the goal.
But that was costing me time with my wife and young boys. And it also wore me down mentally and emotionally.
Then I learned that the answer was I needed to understand more where my time was going. What were my team members doing. How long did it take to get tasks done.
I also learned that fellow business owners were also struggling to manage their time. They didn’t know what was returning the most for each minute of work invested.
If we could learn to track time better, we could get a handle on what exactly we were doing, where the waste was occurring, and increase our productivity and thus profits without working any harder!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you and I both know the world is becoming alot less global and countries are re-shoring their manufacturing.
This means the US wants to make less stuff in China, and bring those jobs over to the great US of A.
Thats nice, but that also means supply chains and global networks are more fragile. Costs will also go up.
This also means the work from home trend is going to be a thing for some time.
